Well I had mentioned in one of my earlier wraps of the preseason that I thought Wilshere would get a run in the cup games. Well today he got given Gilberto’s old Squad number (19). This bodes well for the young 16 year old, who in the games against Juventus and Real Madrid showed that his size is not an impediment, and that he has the maturity to play against some of the best sides in Europe.
